OKN OKN - KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN ON 1721 kHz (36.2kb): - This one is a bit weak, there was much QRM from a nearby Greek pirate splattering all over the channel. This has been widely heard in Europe during the past winter, and this recording was made at 003 utc on the 2nd of March 2006.
SAL SAL - CAPE VERDE, AFRICA ON 274 kHz (43kb): - This one is much further south, located on the West Coast of Africa just 16 degrees north of the Equator, and some 4483 kilometres from here.
SKD SKD - SHAHRE KORD, IRAN ON 376 kHz (43kb): - This NDB was heard here in the north west of England in late April 2008, with just its upper sideband audible on 377.02 kHz.
