MARC GOLDMAN'S LINCOLN, CA DGPS
BEACON IMAGES:

Marc finally had an opportunity to go by the Lincoln, CA DGPS Beacon, which transmits on 314 KHz, and take some pictures of it. This Beacon is located at: 38.5050N 121.212.5W. Marc counted several GPS antenna domes so likely there is some redundancy, and noted that at least one building had air conditioning, which since it was rather hot at around 90 Degrees F, and sometimes reaches 100 F in the Summer months would definitely seem to be a good idea. In the pictures you can see what looks like 6 different "radomes", and two of these are marked Trimble. No doubt everything has redundancy at the site except maybe the Tower. The tower is fairly tall as Beacons go, and could be maybe a hundred feet high. Marc thinks that one shed may be an emergency generator, though he didn't see a fuel tank, though this could have been underground, or even running off of domestic natural gas. The other would be the GPS stuff and the transmitter. Marc's sister can be see pointing out the "No Trespassing" notice on the gate!

This DGPS Beacon uses a TX ID of #764, and BC Ref IDs of #210 and #211. The baud rate for this one is 200bps.
